§ 03 / Load types
If it fits on a deck, it ships.
Freight is the business. Whether that’s sixteen pallets, one apartment’s worth of furniture, or an antique door that cannot arrive with a crack in it, the question is the same: what is it, how big is it, and where does it need to be.
Single awkward items
One heavy, tall, wide, or fragile thing that a parcel carrier will not take and a rental truck cannot hold. This is the bread and butter.
Pallets and crates
Palletized, banded, bundled, or crated freight — stone, roofing panels, barrels, machinery. Shrink-wrapped and strapped on the deck.
Shop tools and equipment
Table saws, drill presses, augers, compactors, inverters, copiers. Heavy shop iron that has to arrive square and undamaged.
Not hauled: cars, boats, or livestock.

§ 05 / Before you book
What a booking actually includes.
Most of the friction in freight comes from assumptions nobody said out loud. So here they are, out loud.
- The truck gets matched to the load. Send dimensions, weight, and a photo when you request the quote. Guessing at size is how pickup days go wrong.
- Loading help is arranged, not assumed. If you need a ramp, a liftgate, or extra hands at either end, put it in writing before the quote is accepted so it is part of the job.
- Pickup and delivery are windows. Long-haul schedules move. What you get is a person who tells you when they do, not a guarantee that they never will.
- Everything gets secured before the wheels turn. Wrapped, blocked, strapped, and covered for the road.
- A certificate of insurance on request.A COI can be provided before pickup.
